It’s a challenging time to be an educator, and you, like many educators around the nation, may be experiencing feelings of overwhelm, stress, or fatigue. Cultivating self-compassion within the context of teaching and learning can be an important resource for sustaining caring for self and others, especially when things feel most difficult. This session is an invitation to all PK-12 educators seeking an opportunity to pause, reflect, and practice self-compassion. In addition, you will explore the concept of compassion and the science of self-compassion and learn about tools for resourcing yourself that you can apply in school and personal contexts.
