Over the course of his career, Bowerman trained 31 Olympic athletes, 51 All-Americans, and helped establish a company that has revolutionized the shoe industry on a global scale. This quote is exactly how a physical education class, or any class, or school for that matter, benefits from the topics surrounding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in education. We will be looking at how, as leaders in education, we can implement DEI pedagogy in whatever realm we serve education, in order to best serve every student we work for.
