Greg is the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching & Learning at Woodridge School District 68 in Illinois. An educator for over 20 years, Greg’s goal is to radically redefine the role relationships play in today’s schools. He is also the director of First Education’s SOAR Center, and is the author of their best-selling book, Significant 72: Unleashing the Power of Relationships in Today’s Schools. A passionate presenter, Greg regularly consults and presents throughout the United Stated and Canada.

Keynote Presentation:
The COVID-19 Pandemic has heightened educator awareness to the inequities present throughout the school system. Closing the achievement gap cannot occur until first, educators close the relationship gap! In this inspiring keynote, Greg Wolcott, author of the best-selling book Significant 72: Unleashing the Power of Relationships in Today’s Schools, describes the critical role creating strong relationships with and between students plays in being able to challenge students to move outside their individual comfort zones and achieve at high levels. He then shares strategies and techniques for creating educational environments of trust and acceptance where all learners can thrive.
