As the pandemic ends, disruptive behavior has been identified as the number one issue impacting student success and educator well-being. For educators around the globe, addressing student behavioral issues and identifying the rationale for such behavior has emerged as a source of frustration and anxiety. In this session, Greg will help educators understand the nine must-know research-based components to creating effective behavior components that make up an effective educational ecosystem. Educators will leave armed with easy-to-implement strategies to use in the classroom to increase student behavior and create the conditions for better learning.

In this session, we will explore how to create assessments that promote higher order thinking skills and how technology can help us achieve this goal. Learn how to create higher order thinking digital assessments that promote deep learning and how to take assessments to the next level by making them more complex. We will also explore the benefits of incorporating technology tools in student-designed learning for physical education, including self and peer assessment, guided and exploratory instruction, and student-led learning. Discover how technology can enhance assessments, foster collaboration, and take learning to the next level.
